DAY FIVE
A picture of somewhere you’ve been to.
This is Shakespeare’s Globe Theater in London, England. I chose this picture, even though its not very glamorous, because The Globe combines two things I love: travel and theater.
This past spring Cait and I took 9 days to go back to see my family in Dublin, then be crazy tourists in London. The day we saw Macbeth at the Globe is one of my favorite days of the trip. We got up stupidly early and did all the touristy stuff you can imagine at the Tower of London and took a long walk on the Thames with huge coffees, enjoying the first cool day of our trip (it had been hot in a painful, unseasonable, un-London-like way). The visit to The Globe was a highlight for both Cait and I, as we both love Shakespeare, and the production of That Scottish Play was absolutely awesome. It’s something I’ll never, never forget.
